Samir Bentley 20, and Ahmed Mohammed, 16, both of Philadelphia, are wanted on first-degree murder charges for the Oct. 23 shooting death of Robert Stiles on East High Street, according to Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin R. Steele and Pottstown Police Chief Mick Markovich.

Two additional suspects are in custody.

Mohammed grabbed Stiles during a robbery, and Bentley fired the three shots that killed him, according to authorities.

They were caught on video surveillance fleeing the scene in a minivan, authorities said.

“These two defendants went looking for the victim and when they found him, they shot him dead, using a firearm that neither man was legally allowed to possess,” DA Steele said. “This is a chilling murder, and we need to get them off the street and behind bars.”

Bentley is 5-foot, 8-inches tall, and weighs approximately 130 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

Mohammed is 5-foot, 3-inches tall, and weighs approximately 120 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

Investigators say Bentley and Mohammed should be considered armed and dangerous.

Authorities urge anyone who sees them to immediately call 911.

Additionally, individuals should call Pottstown police at 610-970-6570 or Montgomery County detectives at 610-226-5553. Anonymous text tips can be submitted using MontcoCrimeTips on the STOPit! app.
